Experience futuristic protest music from Venezuela's underground when the innovative collective weed420 takes the stage at ALICE together with the audiovisual art project Goat Arc.
weed420 is among Latin America's most visionary acts, blending lo-fi and vaporwave with cloud rap vocals and ambient textures seasoned with traditional Venezuelan genres like perreo and salsa. Based in the Venezuelan city of Valencia, they create a labyrinthine sonic universe of noise, sampled bus traffic, and hypnotic passages. Their debut "Amor de Encava" (2025) maps lost everyday life amid political turmoil – a sonic counterforce driven by bubbling energy and DIY aesthetics, which Pitchfork calls "One of the coolest things I've heard this year".
Goat Arc, a new audiovisual project from Copenhagen, opens the evening with a raw and distorted set that celebrates the greatness of the goat with warped synths, guitars, and vocals. Let yourself be taken on an ecstatic journey through collective artistic protest and innovation.
