This House (INT) + support: Emil Palme

This House is a European underground project born from the collaboration between G.W. Sok, legendary co-founder and vocalist of Dutch post-punk pioneers The Ex, and Copenhagen-based producer Ignacio Córdoba. The full band lineup includes drummer Søren Høi and synthesizer player Laust Moltesen.

Their sonic palette blends Sok's poetic narratives with Córdoba's electronic landscapes, weaving together rock, experimental textures and hypnotic rhythms. Angular guitar work combines with dense synthesis, while Høi's precise, adventurous drumming and Moltesen's improvisational synth approach create an ever-evolving expression that balances structure with controlled chaos. The music draws from both the raw directness of post-punk and the unpredictability of free improvisation.

The group's debut album Soft Rains Will Come (March 2026) deepens their distinctive meeting point of literary storytelling, experimental rock and electronic textures. On stage, song, poetry, noise, rhythm and improvisation merge into a constantly shifting sonic experience.

Support: Emil Palme

Danish guitarist and composer Emil Palme is renowned for his innovative approach to the instrument, using stones drawn across guitar strings like bows to create ceremonial and dystopian soundscapes existing between composition and improvisation. His 2025 solo album Death by Angel is a doom requiem inspired by mythological visions of the journey from life to the afterlife. A prominent figure on the Danish experimental music scene, Palme has contributed to projects including Portal Pets, Yngel and Baujillaud, and has collaborated with Halvcirkel, Aarhus Sinfonietta and Manuel Göttsching.
