Screen Printing at the LIBRARY - Introductory Workshop and Technique

Learn the fundamentals of screen printing with instructor Tan Vargas at an intensive introductory course at Library Rentemestervej. The course is taught in English and takes place Friday 20 November 17:00–21:00 and Saturday 21 November 10:00–16:00.

You will be introduced to the workshop and gain hands-on experience with the entire screen printing process: coating screens with emulsion, exposing them, and printing. The instructor reviews the available inks and binders, which you will try out on paper and/or textiles. You will create your own design in A5 format in a single color – either by cutting black paper, drawing with a black Posca marker on overhead transparency, or bringing a digital design on a USB stick. You will receive our Screen Printing Handbook as a reference for future workshop use.
