Conversation series: Poul Nyrup Rasmussen – A Life in Community

Meet former Danish Prime Minister Poul Nyrup Rasmussen at a thoughtful conversation series where he reflects on a lifetime in Danish politics. Through two in-depth conversations, explore the role of power, political decisions, and the meaning of community. Radio host and speaker Søren Dahl moderates the talks and guides the audience through Nyrup's political career and personal journey.

First conversation – Tuesday, October 27:
Focus on drive, power, and political life. We follow Nyrup's path from a working-class family in Esbjerg through the labour movement, Parliament, and to the office of Prime Minister (1993–2001). The conversation explores what it means to lead a nation, how one makes critical decisions for society, and how visions of community shape political choices and compromises.
