Gothenburg-based band Son Entero brings Cuban son and salsa to Copenhagen with full-throttle music and energy on the dance floor. Frontman Raúl Lara, nominated for a Grammy Award, handles vocals and bass, while the rest of the band – Rolando Lara on percussion, Raciel Garces Espinosa on vocals, Johanna Nordström on piano and Klas Nilsson on trumpet – delivers the authentic Caribbean music tradition with stunning precision.
The evening starts with group dancing led by the energetic Mambo Vikings, setting the tone for a night full of movement. Son Entero plays two sets, separated by a dance show featuring Mambo Vikings around midnight. Between the band's performances, DJ Sergio Bedoya and DJ Jacob Speake keep the energy flowing with old-school salsa, timba and Cuban son, mixed with bachata and merengue.
