SÆSON CYKLUS presents its fourth and final talk of 2026 – a conversation about fertility, society, and who profits from women's biological clock. The event takes place at Copenhagen Business School and is open to everyone, whether you are a student or not.
The Price of Fertility: Eggonomics
For years, girls were taught to avoid pregnancy. Now the message is shifting: hurry up, freeze your eggs, have more babies – birth rates are falling. Women often receive contradictory messages at the same time. This talk explores how society talks about fertility – from science and history to personal experiences – and what these narratives cost women. How was society once structured around having children, what has changed, and who profits from the stories we are told?Moderator
Ida Axholm, biologist and menstrual cycle expert with a Master's degree in molecular and medicinal biology from Roskilde University and the University of Copenhagen, will moderate the evening. She is a certified Fertility Awareness Method educator and has worked since 2019 with cycle tracking, fertility awareness, and cyclical living, helping women better understand their menstrual cycles.Additional panelists will be announced soon.
