PRiMi: Membrane + PRiMi Lab #2 with Ayi Solomon

PRiMi presents exciting concerts every Tuesday at H15 Studio. This evening features two musical experiences: first Membrane, then PRiMi Lab #2 featuring Ayi Solomon.

Membrane is a musical collective of five composer-performers from across Europe (Poland, Chile, Germany, Latvia and Slovakia), who met in Copenhagen's experimental music scene. The ensemble combines original compositions with collective improvisations, rooted in a shared sensitivity to sound, silence and listening. Featuring Michal Biel and Michaela Turcerová on saxophones, Tomás Gubbins on electric guitar, Darius Heid on piano and Jekabs Reders on percussion, they create a rich fusion of perspectives.

PRiMi Lab #2 invites an acclaimed performer to create a one-night-only music program with emerging talents from the Copenhagen scene. This edition features Ayi Solomon, a legendary Ghanaian musician born in Mamprobi, Accra. A self-taught world musician who played with the celebrated Classic Vibes band and has toured globally with artists including Palle Mikkelborg, Pierre Dørge and New Jungle Orchestra.

Schedule: Doors open at 19:30, Membrane performs at 20:00, PRiMi Lab #2 at 21:00. Admission: 100 kr., free for students.
