PAYDAR "HEYVAN" EP Release with Naghib Shanbehzadeh live

Copenhagen-based DJ and producer PAYDAR celebrates the release of her new EP "HEYVAN" at ALICE with an evening filled with electronic music and cultural fusion. PAYDAR is known for her pulsating, inclusive club sets that blend references from across the SWANA region with modern electronic beats. With roots in Iran and upbringing in the Nordic countries, she creates a musical universe where percussive electronics meet Persian cultural heritage in a natural and organic way.

The evening opens with Iranian percussionist Naghib Shanbehzadeh, based in France and an internationally recognized artist in his field. With over 20 years of stage experience and training from both oral tradition and French conservatory, Shanbehzadeh fuses South Iranian rhythms, jazz, global roots and experimental music in a distinctive and energetic style. He has collaborated with names such as Billy Cobham, Manu Codjia and Kian Soltani and opens the evening with a live set.

During the release celebration, Amar Shah, founder of Among Good People, presents a selection of new PAYDAR merchandise as well as styles from his own brand AGP. Admission: 115 kr.
