Join a free guided tour about Etruria at the Glyptotek, focusing on the Etruscan civilization in central Italy from the period before the Roman Empire became the dominant power in the Mediterranean. The tour explores the museum's collection of Etruscan tomb paintings, sculptures, and craftsmanship, offering insight into a culture shaped by lavish banquets, boundless luxury, lightning omens, and beliefs in an eternal afterlife.
The tour is free when museum admission has been paid. Tickets for the tour cannot be reserved in advance, but must be collected at the ticket desk on the day.
