Nordic Ballads unfolds a musical journey through Nordic mythologies and forgotten narratives. Singer Katrina Petersen (with Faroese and Danish roots) takes the stage with guitarist Andreas Ugorskij, alongside Estonian musicians keyboardist Raun Juurikas and saxophonist Villu Veski. Together they create a universe where ballads from Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland and the Faroe Islands blend with stories from Estonia – a sonorous musical tribute to the secrets of myth and humanity's eternal questions about time and fate.
As the evening reaches its climax, the drum orchestra Arno Kalbus & Atro Drum Orchestra from Estonia enters the stage, their primal force and ritualistic drum sound drawing the audience deeper into Nordic ceremonies and original musical magic. The orchestra tours in 2026 at festivals and venues in Estonia, the Faroe Islands and Denmark. In October 2026, Nordic Ballads releases a live album recorded in Tallinn in 2025, followed by a release tour including a concert in Nørrebro.
