A lively and colorful music theater performance for young audiences, based on the beloved children's book classic by Jakob Martin Strid. The production features 17 small scenes unfolding through 4 different types of puppets, 10 different instruments, 3 shadow play scenes, costumes, glasses, wigs, and false teeth. The scenography transforms in surprising ways throughout the performance.
This is a cheeky and witty celebration of diversity, imagination, resourcefulness, and anarchy — precisely what makes theater exciting for children. Featuring Ditte Ylva Olsen, Ida Lund Nørfelt, and Hans Find Møller under the direction of Denni Dennis. The puppets are created by Maja Linde Christensen, and props are handled by Anja Karottki.
A 60-minute performance without intermission, suitable for children from age 4 and up.
