MØL, Denmark's acclaimed blackgaze pioneers, visit VEGA for a concert described as a musical cleansing ritual and a rite of confession. The band performs on October 16 in Lille VEGA.
MØL has returned with the album DREAMCRUSH (2026), their third full-length released on the influential Metal label Nuclear Blast. Following two critically acclaimed releases – Jord (2019) and Diorama (2021) – the band continues to perfect their signature sound, blending black metal elements with shoegaze, indie pop, and alternative rock hooks inspired by My Bloody Valentine, Cocteau Twins, and Smashing Pumpkins. DREAMCRUSH received five stars from music magazine GAFFA.
The album explores the duality of dreams – where the lightness of dreams meets reality's burden. Although themes of loss and sorrow run through the work, the band emphasizes that DREAMCRUSH is not dystopian, but rather about joy and reconciliation. The 11 tracks demonstrate MØL's ability to blend aggressive black metal compositions with melodic songwriting and powerful, expansive hooks.
