Meet debut author Frederik Drescher Kluth at the Main Library, where he presents his novel 'In the Meantime We Are Nobody' – an emotionally rich and humorous exploration of today's youth. In conversation with literature mediator Mathias Emil Stenrøs, you'll gain insight into how Kluth writes about masculinity, vulnerability and the feeling of loneliness among friends.
The novel follows a young man navigating the surface of youth life – pizza, parties and YouTube – but encounters doubt, vulnerability and deep questions about friendships, love and what it means to be male. The event is arranged on the occasion of the Don't Fear the Weird festival in collaboration with PsykInfo and explores the psychological, the different and what is difficult to talk about.
You don't need to have read the book in advance – the conversation welcomes both new and previous readers. The event is free and open to everyone interested in literature.
