This musical production tells the enchanting story of little grasshopper Grethe, who loves to hop and move at her own pace. One day, an unexpected giant leap sends her out into the world — an adventurous, exciting, yet solitary universe. Fortunately, her devoted friends, the slow-moving snails, help guide her back home.
The performance explores themes of community, loneliness, and finding one's place in the world. Throughout the experience, the audience actively sings along with the story, making everyone part of the stage. After the performance, children can explore various instruments and sounds themselves.
The performance is part of the Teatermagi in Autumn Holiday festival (week 42), which presents performing arts for the whole family across the city. The festival is supported by Augustinus Foundation and Copenhagen's Performing Arts Committee.
