Through the Fog, NVLVS and Helskov

Råhuset hosts an evening with three black metal acts from Aarhus: Gennem Tågen, NVLVS and Helskov. Gennem Tågen plays black metal rooted in the Nordic wave of the '90s, combining icy riffs, dark atmosphere, acoustic guitar and Danish lyrics. After their 2019 demo, the band recorded two albums in 2022: Koldt betragtes verden (released Nov. 2023) and Sindets mørke (released Oct. 2024), and around the release of their debut they took the step to become a full live band.

NVLVS is a Danish black/death metal band from Aarhus, founded in 1997, known for its dark, atmospheric sound and strong Lovecraft-inspired themes. The band has maintained a DIY approach without ever signing to a record label and has performed at several Danish metal festivals, including Mono Goes Metal in 2020. Helskov, formed in 2019 by Eleven and Frygt, works within melodic black metal and has released 4 demos since 2020. The band currently consists of Eleven (vocals), Frygt (guitar, backing vocals), Livræd (guitar), Skurk (bass) and Deva (drums), and is putting the finishing touches on the songs for their debut full-length.
