Experience a double indie concert featuring two original Danish approaches to indie pop. Atsushi Röjle, a Danish-Japanese artist known as Atusji, presents his melancholic and charming musical universe through poetically crafted lyrics and handmade instrumentation. His 2025 album Indie received five stars in GAFFA and earned him a nomination for Songwriter of the Year at Den Uafhængige 2026. With quirky characters, sarcastic flair and poetic detail, Atusji explores themes of love, infidelity and life's small absurdities. Following his earlier album trilogy Soapbox and Slowboat til Asakusa, he has performed at Roskilde Festival, SPOT Festival and Copenhagen Jazz Festival.
Hængemulen consists of four experienced musicians who blend theremins, rototoms and homemade effect pedals with an unconventional DIY approach. Their concerts are described as a unique blend of slacky noise, engaging melodies and tragicomic indie. The latest album Hængemulens Kundeservice from 2025 explores existential themes with both vulnerability and brilliant energy.
