David – Voices of the Street

Join David on a personal walking tour through Nørrebro, where he opens up about his life in Copenhagen's punk and street culture scene. With authentic storytelling, he blends history, culture and personal experience with the world of substances and their impact on his life.

David takes you around Nørrebro and shares the environment he navigated as a young man – a world shaped by hash, alcohol and community. Along the way, he explains the different categories of substances (psychedelic, depressant and stimulant), their chemical effects and how addiction develops differently depending on the substance.

His story also covers the long struggle: balancing work, studies and hidden heroin addiction, acknowledging his situation, and navigating treatment and substitution therapy. It is an honest insight into what it means to live with addiction and seek help – without false promises or easy solutions.
