Blåly / Release Concert at Union

Blåly celebrates the release of their second album Resonans with a live concert at Union. The trio delivers Nordic instrumental jazz filled with hypnotic piano patterns, flowing grooves, and ethereal double bass tones, creating an atmospheric and intimate sound universe. The music fuses jazz, folk, and Nordic sound traditions, moving between melancholy, tranquility, and intensity.

The trio consists of Barbara Fiig (piano), Johan Kjær Houver (double bass), and Timon Matern (drums). Their debut album Nystalgi was released in 2024 and became, among other things, Album of the Week on DR P8 Jazz. Since then, the band has performed several sold-out and critically acclaimed concerts.

At the release concert, you'll have the opportunity to hear songs from Resonans live and purchase the album on vinyl before its official release on October 23rd on April Records.
