Meet Steffen Løvkjær from Historic Talks on a cultural historical experience at the Glyptotek, where you explore the Danish art museum's impressive French art collection. Through the guided tour in easy-to-understand French, you gain insight into Impressionism and the Belle Époque period between approximately 1870 and 1914.
Artists such as Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, Vincent van Gogh, Paul Cézanne, Paul Gaugain, Camille Pissaro, Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Berthe Morisot are presented in depth. Steffen Løvkjær guides you through their works and tells how the Impressionists saw modern life, nature, women and Paris through their eyes.
The tour takes place in French, which gives you the opportunity to practice the language while gaining a new perspective on art. You can ask questions in both French and Danish. Steffen Løvkjær, who previously worked at the Royal Collections at Amalienborg and Rosenborg and is now used by, among others, TV2 and the Royal House, conveys art in beautiful and clear French.
