Arbejderchor celebrates its 5-year anniversary with a festive evening at Arbejdermuseet. The event will be a special experience where the audience actively participates – first with vocal warm-ups, then by rehearsing new songs from the upcoming 14th edition of the Arbejdersangbog (Worker Song Book).
The choir was founded five years ago with a specific purpose: to record worker songs for a sound installation in the museum's festive hall. Since then, the group has grown from 8 to 30 singers – sopranos, altos, tenors and basses – and has also contributed songs to current exhibitions such as "Everything Begins with a Song". The evening is led by the choir's conductor and pianist David Kappel Kosteljanetz.
The audience will have the opportunity to both listen and sing along as some of the new works from the Arbejdersangbog are presented, while some of the classic songs from earlier editions are remembered.
Practical info: The evening takes place in Arbejdermuseet's festive hall. Tickets are purchased/booked through the museum's official channels.
