Absolute Music #50: Zeuthen/Thomsen/Svejnar and chicotom

Experience two powerful musical performances at Absolute Music #50, Copenhagen's influential DIY concert series.

Zeuthen/Thomsen/Svejnar is a newly formed European trio led by legendary Jesper Zeuthen, one of the Danish jazz scene's most important figures since the 1960s. He joins with Czech drummer Jakub Svejnar and Danish bassist Asger Thomsen. The three musicians meet in an open field of listening, presence and spontaneous creation, where experience intertwines with curiosity.

chicotom presents his musical universe through the Chilean expression "se moja el potito" – an invitation to take risks and venture into the unknown. Tomás Gubbins performs on acoustic guitar and vocals inspired by traditions like canto a lo poeta, where songs are placed in a performative landscape where boundaries can dissolve.
